** Please Note: Each tambourine is hand made individually and no two are identical, as the hides differ in texture and receive the dye and ink colors in a unique way. The pictures shown represent the colors of dyes and inks used to create each tambourine. Therefore, the colors are similar but not an exact representation of the color tones of the tambourine you will receive.
How it’s Made
The 10" frame is constructed from laminated birch hardwood and sealed with non toxic, water based urethane.
The tambourine drum head is cut from your choice of tanned goat hide, or simulated vegan membrane and affixed to the frame.
Sixteen polished steel jingles are then attached around the edge of the tambourine.
For superior penetration and durability the drum head is hand dyed using leather dye and hand painted using acrylic inks
and then finished with a coat of matte sealer.
